Short Bible Story Preview
Lazarus and his sisters, Mary and Martha, were friends of Jesus. When Lazarus became sick, the sisters sent word to Jesus. By the time Jesus arrived, Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days.
Martha told Jesus that if he had been there, her brother would not have died. Jesus answered, "I am the resurrection and the life." Then he went to the tomb, prayed, and called, "Lazarus, come out!"
Lazarus came out alive. The story shows children that Jesus weeps with those who grieve and has power even over death.
