Jacob and Esau were twin brothers, but they were very different. Esau loved the open fields and hunting. Jacob stayed closer to the tents. Their family favoritism made the brothers' relationship even more fragile.

Jacob wanted the blessing that belonged to Esau and used deception to receive it. Esau was deeply hurt, and Jacob had to leave home. Years later, after many struggles, Jacob returned afraid of meeting the brother he had wronged.

When the brothers finally met, Esau ran to embrace Jacob. The story does not pretend that deception is small. It shows that broken families need truth, humility, time, and grace.
