Gideon Bible Story
Gideon feels small, asks for signs, and learns that victory comes from God.
Short Bible Story Preview
Gideon was hiding grain from enemies when the angel of the Lord called him a mighty warrior. Gideon did not feel mighty at all. He felt weak and unsure.
God patiently gave Gideon signs, including the sign of the fleece. Later, God reduced Gideon's army so the people would know victory came from the Lord, not from numbers.
Gideon's story helps children talk about fear, reassurance, and trusting God when they feel too small for the task.
